TraffiGloves: Choose the right glove for you.

  • What are you doing? Are you handling sheet glass or warehouse stock? Is it the kind of job which causes a lot of wear and tear on the hands, is it lots of heavy lifting or handling rough materials? Consider carefully the range of tasks involved in your place of work, and make a list.
  • What kind of environment are you working in? If you’re outside in the elements you might need to think about rain, or protecting hands from the cold. A very dry environment can be hard on the hands, and any oily residue might require more grip.
  • Do a full risk assessment. Identify the hazards in your workplace, and what risks they pose to your hands.
